G Statewide Firearms Course
In order to obtain your Class G Security Officers License; you need to obtain your ‘D’ License first. If you have not fulfilled this requirement please see our 24 hour D course descriptions. The “G” License will allow you to work for any state licensed Security Agency within the state of Florida as an Armed Security Officer. The course is 28 hours long and spans 3 days.
28hr G
Description: The 28 hour course is a highly specialized Security Officer training course; designed to get you familiar with the aspects of being an Armed Security Officer. We provide this class 2 times a week. It is a three (3) day course– you will be in the classroom for 10 hours your first two days of training. Then you will spend the third day at either the indoor or outdoor range for a total of 8 hours to fulfill your training requirements. Classes begin at 8 a.m. and finish at 6:30 p.m. on day one and two; day 3 will end at 4:30 p.m.
Requirements: You need to have a ‘D’ License, be at least 18 years of age and have not been convicted of a felony.
Items to bring to class: Notepad, black pen, highlighter, official photo-id (Drivers License, Passport, etc..)
Course Fees Include: Photo & notary services, fingerprinting, aid in completing the state application, equipment, ammunition, and certificate of completion.
Payment: This course costs $175.00 for .38 special or $180.00 for 9mm or $225.00 for both. We accept Cash, Money Order, Visa or MasterCard– WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Payment will be collected at the beginning of the first class.

4hr G Recerts
Description: The 4 hour re-certification course is a refresher course; designed to ensure you are still a competent shooter. This course is needed annually by all ’G’ Licensed Security Officers. The course is held every Saturday at the range in Osteen, beginning at 8 a.m. and finishing at 12 p.m.
Requirements: You need to have a ‘G’ License.
Items to bring to class: Black pen & official photo-id (Drivers License, Passport, etc..)
Course Fees Include: Equipment, ammunition, and certificate of completion.
Payment: This course costs $105 for a .38 special or 9mm and $50 for the shotgun with a $10.00 weapons rental charged if needed. Re-qualify with personal weapon and own ammo, $75.00. We accept Cash, Money Order, Visa or MasterCard– WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Payment will be collected at the beginning of class.
